International Finance Forum (IFF) 2021 Global Green Finance Award Winners Announcement

The IFF Global Green Finance Innovation Award has been initiated by the International Finance Forum (IFF) to reward institutions and innovative solutions for their outstanding contribution to green finance, especially in climate and biodiversity finance worldwide and facilitate the process of global climate governance and sustainable development. Based on the success of the first IFF Global Green Finance Award in 2020, the IFF officially launched the IFF 2021 Global Green Finance Award application this September and received many applications from well-known domestic and international institutions.

The Award Jury has 25 prominent leaders and experts from economic, financial and environmental realms, with global influence and authority. Scientific and rigorous evaluation procedures and criteria have been implemented based on good international practices. Upholding the principles of openness, fairness and impartiality, the Award Jury has carried out orderly and conscientious review, verification, comprehensive evaluation and public announcement process on the 32 pre-screened applicants and their projects, based on several dimensions including innovation, replicability, contribution to green finance development, profitability and contribution to public welfare, etc. 10 winners each for the 2021 Global Green Finance Annual Award and the 2021 Global Green Finance Innovation Award have been selected as below (not in any particular order):
