    — New Landscapes in World Economy: Interpretation, Prospects and Reflection
    • The recurring COVID-19 pandemic has brought new uncertainties to the global economic recovery. The slow progress of vaccination in developing countries has also cast a shadow on the recovery, while inflationary pressures in major economies have created a number of variables for the progress of monetary policies. Looking at the global economic and policy trends in 2022 and discussing how to strengthen global policy coordination to effectively control the pandemic and promote sustained economic recovery under new circumstances.

    Cum IFF 2021 Global Finance and Development Report Symposium
    • Green finance has been developing rapidly, but it is far from adequate for funding green growth and sustainable development. The IFF Global Finance and Development Report reviews the recent development of global green finance, explores the driving factors of development, and indicates the national policies and international cooperation to promote green finance. It also explores policy priorities for promoting the development and innovation of global green finance and compiles a global green finance development index and country rankings. The full contents of the Report will be discussed at the Forum.

    • China has effectively brought the pandemic under control, and its economy continues to lead the global recovery. China's new targets for carbon peaking, carbon neutrality, and common prosperity will also have huge economic and policy implications. How would the new international and domestic landscape affect the transformation and direction of China's economic and financial policies.

    • The G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBGs) reached a historic agreement in Italy in July 2021 to establish a more stable and equitable international taxation framework. This reform will reshape the existing international tax rules that have been in operation for nearly a century and will have a huge impact on the global layout and investment operations of multinational enterprises. This session discusses the measures, paths, and impacts of global taxation reform.
